Credit Risk Manager
The Credit Risk Manager oversees the development and ongoing refinement of risk management policies, procedures, systems, and tools to strengthen the organisation’s risk controls. This role plays a key part in maintaining and optimising stock margin ratios and blacklists, supporting a robust risk management framework. The position involves monitoring and managing risk exposures at the company, counterparty, and product levels.
The organisation operates within the securities sector and requires a candidate with extensive experience in credit risk management, particularly familiar with Hong Kong and US markets including margin financing, futures, options, and related margin models. The team reports directly to senior management and the role involves delivering regular risk reports and risk assessments for strategic decision-making.

Develop and improve risk management policies, procedures, systems, and tools

Maintain and optimise stock margin ratios and blacklist

Monitor and manage risk exposures and limit utilisation at various levels

Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations on limit applications and new products

Support wealth management by providing product risk ratings and listing standards

Prepare and deliver regular and ad hoc risk reports

Support other risk management projects when required

Hold a Bachelor degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting or related fields

Possess at least 6 years of credit risk management experience at a large securities firm

Be familiar with Hong Kong and US markets, including margin financing, futures, and options

Demonstrate the ability to analyse financial statements, including ratio and cash flow analysis

Exhibit strong communication skills in Mandarin

Be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
