Equity Middle Office
The Equity Middle Office position supports the trade lifecycle management and reconciliation activities for Securities Financing desks within a prominent financial services organisation. This role is integral to maintaining operational efficiency in a global and dynamic environment.

The Equity Middle Office role involves providing end-to-end trade support, monitoring trade lifecycle events, and managing reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will act as a key operational liaison across multiple teams, contribute to process automation initiatives, and support regulatory and strategic projects.

Deliver end-to-end trade support for Securities Financing desks, including accurate trade capture, modifications, cancellations, corporate action adjustments, portfolio structure maintenance, and real-time PnL updates.

Monitor and manage trade lifecycle events, rectify position breaks, and perform trade reconciliations, emphasising interbook and back-to-back transactions.

Act as the primary operational bridge between Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and regional/Static Data teams to resolve queries and manage ad-hoc requests.

Identify workflow efficiencies, update SOPs, participate in process automation initiatives, and test new automation tools.

Assist with regulatory change management agendas and implement support for new business initiatives impacting the trading desks.

Strong functional knowledge of Equity Derivatives or Delta One Equity products and post-trade operational processes.

Demonstrated background in a Middle Office or Trade Support capacity within the Equities and Derivatives space.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to process complex operational tasks accurately under tight timelines.

Experience with process improvement initiatives and automation tools; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications preferred.

Outstanding written and spoken English, with strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional and regional teams.
