Our client is looking for a dedicated and customer-orientated individual to join their team as a Customer Service Officer (Counter Service). This role plays a key part in delivering excellent end-to-end payment services and ensuring smooth financial transactions for their clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end payment services to clients and agencies with a strong customer mindset.
- Handle premium collections including payment by cash, card, cheque, and direct bank-in.
- Carry out verification procedures and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reviews, especially for large transactions.
- Timely communication and follow-up with agencies to obtain relevant or additional documentation for review purposes.
- Resolve payment-related enquiries via counter service and email correspondence.
- Participate in rotations across various Cashier Centre locations when required.
- Willingness to work overtime and under pressure during peak periods such as month-end, lapse cycles, and business campaigns to support growth.
- Collaborate with team members and departments to meet business objectives.
- Support general administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Form 5 graduate or higher; tertiary education is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in cash collection, preferably with experience in the banking or insurance sectors.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
- Strong numerical sense and proficiency in Microsoft Word (English version) and Excel; accurate data entry skills are required.
- Possess strong self-initiative, flexibility, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
