We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fraud Management Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading initiatives to detect, prevent, and respond to fraudulent activities across the organisation’s operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, in-depth industry knowledge, and a proactive approach in managing fraud risks through strategic planning and effective implementation of fraud management frameworks.
The role involves reviewing and enhancing fraud risk policies, conducting root cause analysis of fraud incidents, and developing preventive strategies that address vulnerabilities in business processes and technology systems. You will be expected to coordinate across departments to ensure robust internal controls are in place, conduct fraud awareness training, and lead investigations into suspicious activities while liaising with relevant law enforcement and regulatory bodies when necessary.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline. A professional qualification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent is highly desirable. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in fraud risk management, preferably in the financial services or banking industries, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role is required.
Strong knowledge of fraud risk assessment methodologies, anti-fraud controls, forensic investigation techniques, and regulatory reporting requirements in Hong Kong is essential. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are necessary, as you will work closely with senior management, auditors, and external partners. Proficiency in data analysis tools and fraud detection technologies is expected, along with the ability to interpret large data sets to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of fraud.
