We are seeking a skilled and motivated Front Office Developer to join our client's dynamic crypto trading team based in Hong Kong. This is a key role focused on building and enhancing the front-office technology stack, enabling high-performance systematic trading in the global cryptocurrency markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the core technology infrastructure powering systematic crypto trading strategies.
- Build and enhance front-office systems including portfolio management systems (PMS), risk engines, reconciliation tools, and market connectivity components.
- Collaborate closely with traders and quantitative researchers to roll out, support, and automate 24/7 trading strategies in a production environment.
- Design clean, modular, and scalable architecture using modern development practices and tools.
- Experiment with and adopt new technologies to continuously improve system performance and trading execution.
Requirements
- 3–10 years of professional software development experience in a trading or high-performance environment.
- Strong programming skills in Python; experience with C++ is a significant advantage.
- Proven track record in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on quality and performance.
- Experience building real-time systems that are robust, scalable, and quantitative in nature.
- Ability to architect and implement high-throughput end-to-end trading systems.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) is beneficial.
