We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Global Markets Operations Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day settlement operations of various derivatives products, ensuring all post-trade activities are accurately and efficiently processed. This role is critical in supporting the integrity and efficiency of operational procedures in compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory standards.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Handle daily settlement operations including deal confirmation, validation, and payment for Interest Rate Derivatives and Equity Derivatives products.
- Perform post-trade processing activities and life cycle management operations, including event monitoring and settlement functions.
- Design and implement robust operational procedures in line with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Participate actively in the development, testing, and implementation phases of new investment product launches and system enhancement projects.
Requirements:
- Degree or above in a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in back office operations, with a sound understanding of Global Markets products.
- Excellent self-motivation and a strong attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to manage tasks effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Flexible to work outside standard hours and during public holidays when needed.
- Proficient in both English and Chinese (spoken and written).
- Advanced computer literacy, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office; VBA skills are highly desirable.
- A strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high quality customer service and operational excellence.
