Role Summary:
The role will be under in New Business Underwriting Team with responsibilities involving underwriting of new business, existing policies, handling enquiries from distribution channels and internal customer, conducting underwriting trainings, visiting agency branches, and, involving new business, underwriting related projects.
Involving into strategic planning into IM business and growth, driving tech into a seamless customer journey for Health & GI personal lines products.
Result Areas:
- Handle medical underwriting cases and potentially expand into personal lines products such as: Travel, Motor, Personal accident, other consumer products
- Follow up with underwriting outstanding issues
- Handle enquiries via different distribution channels
- Assist any project taking and being involved in tech alignment or transformation into insurance
- Degree holder
- 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably from life insurance industry or medical field
- Experience in Tech, AI working, Digitalization
- Customer oriented and attentive to details
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under stress, outside the box thinking
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- PC literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
