Manufacturing Engineering

Role Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer will oversee injection molding operations, leading a team of technicians and maintenance personnel to achieve production goals while ensuring safety and quality. The role involves managing machine performance, implementing preventive maintenance, and driving process improvements to support the company's operational objectives.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in injection molding operations
• At least 5 years in a supervisory role managing technicians and maintenance teams
• Strong knowledge of horizontal injection molding machines (e.g., Engel, Haitian, Sumitomo)
• Familiarity with mold setup, process optimization, and preventive maintenance
• Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MES systems
• Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of targets
• Optimize machine utilization and efficiency (OEE)
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for injection molding processes
• Supervise production technicians, mold change technicians, and maintenance staff
• Conduct training, performance reviews, and skill development for team members
• Oversee and ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance (PM) plans for all horizontal injection machines
• Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate with maintenance staff or external vendors
• Maintain records of machine downtime, root causes, and corrective actions
• Work with quality teams to address defects and non-conformities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S) to enhance productivity and reduce waste
• Report daily production status, issues, and KPIs to William Yeung
• Collaborate with planning, engineering, and quality departments to resolve cross-functional challenges
Requirements:
• Education: Diploma or higher in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in injection molding operations, with 5+ years in supervisory roles
• Location: On-Site at Jiangmen plant
• Previous experience working with horizontal injection molding machines (e.g., Engel, Haitian, Sumitomo)
• Right to work in the designated location
Nice to Have (Optional):
• Familiarity with mold setup and process optimization techniques
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001
