We are seeking a highly organised and driven MDRT Event Specialist on a 3-month contract basis to coordinate a prestigious event within the insurance sector. This role is based in Hong Kong and offers a competitive monthly salary of HKD 45,000.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of an MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) event, ensuring seamless operations from start to finish.
You will be responsible for overseeing vendor relationships and managing the logistics, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of all event-related activities.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure all event components align with business goals and maintain a high standard of excellence. Duties include sourcing and negotiating with vendors, managing contracts, coordinating travel and accommodation needs, and ensuring compliance with company policies. You will also take the lead in creating detailed event itineraries, on-site management, post-event analysis, and reporting.
We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in managing large-scale corporate events, ideally with previous exposure to the insurance or financial services industry. A background in organising MDRT or similarly high-profile events will be highly desirable. The ability to communicate fluently and professionally in English is essential, as you will be working with international teams and high-level professionals. Cantonese or Mandarin language skills would be advantageous but are not a requirement.
The ideal candidate is solution-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is necessary, and experience with event management software will be seen as a plus. The role requires immediate availability or short notice, and a readiness to travel and work outside standard business hours during the event phase.
