This position is based in Hong Kong and offers a competitive salary in HKD. We are seeking a seasoned RBC Manager to lead the implementation, development and monitoring of risk-based capital (RBC) frameworks in compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of ensuring the company’s solvency, risk tolerance and capital adequacy are properly managed under evolving insurance regulatory standards, specifically based around local regulations and the Fubon RBC Model.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of actuarial principles, risk management practices and RBC frameworks, with significant experience in financial modelling, capital management and regulatory reporting. Key responsibilities will include leading RBC framework enhancement projects, coordinating with internal teams to ensure complete and timely submission of regulatory capital reports, and providing strategic advice on capital planning and optimisation. Candidates should have at least five years’ relevant experience in an actuarial, finance or risk management role, ideally within the insurance sector. A solid understanding of Hong Kong’s regulatory environment and frameworks is essential, particularly the Insurance Authority's local RBC regime.

Professional qualifications such as FIA, FSA or equivalent actuarial certifications are highly preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are required, along with proficiency in financial modelling tools, Excel, and data analysis software. Familiarity with economic capital models, ORSA processes and stress testing methodologies will also be advantageous. The ideal applicant will demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and influence decision-making at senior levels. Practical knowledge of the Fubon RBC Model will be considered a strong asset.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make a direct impact on capital management strategies, compliance, and broader business objectives in a dynamic regulatory setting. Fluency in English is required; fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin will be considered an asset. Candidates should possess a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail and the ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
