We are seeking a driven and experienced Relationship Manager to join our Global Corporate Banking team based in Hong Kong Island. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and manage relationships with large corporate clients across multiple industries, providing holistic financial solutions and ensuring exceptional client service within a global banking environment. You will work directly with senior decision-makers, delivering tailored financial strategies and maintaining robust credit and risk standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of global corporate clients, building long-term partnerships while identifying opportunities for revenue growth. Duties include analysing client needs, originating and structuring corporate banking transactions, preparing credit proposals, and liaising with internal stakeholders across credit risk, product teams, compliance, and legal functions. You will engage closely with clients to understand their strategic goals and support them with bespoke financial services including lending, treasury, trade finance, and cash management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate or institutional banking, with a proven track record in managing corporate relationships and leading complex transactions. Strong knowledge of financial markets, credit analysis, and treasury products is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as is the ability to negotiate confidently with senior executives both internally and externally. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is highly advantageous given the client base.
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline. A relevant professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, or HKIB certification will be beneficial. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work under pressure in a dynamic, international business environment are crucial to success in this role.
