We are seeking an experienced Reporting Contractor - Senior Manager to support the International Reporting Team (IRT) on a contract basis. This role is based in Hong Kong and offers a dynamic opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-performing team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial and regulatory reports related to internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies. This includes the timely and accurate consolidation of financial results, thorough variance analysis, and the provision of insightful commentary on performance drivers.
Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end group-level reporting processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant reporting standards and internal guidelines. You will be required to liaise with local business units to gather financial data, coordinate with internal teams on financial planning and analysis, and support the development of internal financial dashboards and analytics tools. In addition, you will be engaged in the preparation of materials for senior management and Board-level reporting, providing insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.
To be successful in this role, candidates should hold a recognised university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, and possess a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW). A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in group financial reporting or audit, preferably within the financial services industry, is expected. Prior experience working with large multinational corporations, and familiarity with IFRS and regional regulatory requirements will be viewed favourably.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines are essential. You should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in reporting tools such as SAP, Hyperion Financial Management or equivalent enterprise reporting systems. Excellent written and spoken English is required, while knowledge of Chinese would be an advantage.
