Risk Engineer - Property

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct property risk assessments.
Identifying and evaluating potential hazards and their financial impacts.
Develop and present risk mitigation and loss prevention strategies to clients.
Support underwriters with risk data, analysis, and recommendations for policy terms.
Use technical expertise in construction, electrical, or mechanical systems to assess risks.
Analyse claims histories and risk data to forecast future exposures.
Deliver client consultations and training on property risk management practices.
Evaluating physical risks across various types of properties.
Identify potential hazards.
Detailed reports outlining the financial implications of identified risks.
Advising clients on loss prevention strategies and recommending practical solutions.
Influence risk mitigation.
Ensure that properties are better protected against unforeseen events.
Supporting underwriting decisions by supplying comprehensive data
Supporting analysis to assess the insurability of a property.

Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
Outstanding attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Fluent in written and spoken English at a native level.
Strong technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
Background in engineering or relevant technical discipline preferred.
Experience in insurance or risk engineering highly advantageous.
