Sales Lead, Broker Sales

We seek a senior, cross-regional business development professional to join our APAC Data Feeds team, playing a vital role in driving broker data sales, forging partnerships, and defining strategic commercial initiatives across the region. This includes managing off-platform data feeds such as real-time pricing, digital wealth solutions, and quantitative analytics, with a focus on creating mutually beneficial contractual structures. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to impact revenue growth and strengthen relationships with major clients, working closely with internal stakeholders and external broker data providers in a collaborative environment that values individual perspectives.
Role Overview:
The purpose of this role is to lead the remediation of current contracts with our largest Data & Feeds clients and develop regional strategies for requalification. The position involves negotiating complex commercial arrangements, supporting customer engagement at negotiation stages, and ensuring timely achievement of project objectives. You will be instrumental in aligning strategic goals with operational execution, contributing significantly to the organization’s growth in the APAC market.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Deep understanding of the financial sector and data subscription business
• Experience negotiating significant contracts with large organizations
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills
• Business-level English; proficiency in another Asian language is a plus
• Excellent collaboration and project management skills
• Proven experience driving re-contracting processes
• 5-10 years of industry, sales, or market experience
• Track record of success in a sales environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Remediate current contracts with our largest Data & Feeds clients by creatively structuring, negotiating, and finalizing agreements
• Manage project timelines and objectives to ensure timely completion of initiatives
• Develop and implement the APAC-wide strategy for client requalification
• Lead and participate in customer meetings, especially during negotiation stages
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate commercial success
Requirements:
• Right to work in the region
• Significant experience in financial data sales, negotiation, and contract management
• Strong understanding of the HKG FS Domain Market Data Analytics
