The Sales Specialist, PRS Data is responsible for managing and developing client relationships within the market data domain, with a focus on the Asia region. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, helping to expand the business by winning new revenue and supporting existing accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. The position is integral to driving growth, supporting sales strategies, and contributing to our mission of enabling smarter financial markets.
Role Overview:
The purpose of this role is to lead and execute sales activities to promote PRS Data services, driving revenue growth and expanding our client base across Asia. The Sales Specialist will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, contribute to strategic sales planning, and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to support the organisation’s objectives.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Experience in market data, particularly within the HKG FS domain
• Proven track record in client-facing sales roles within financial data or SaaS environments
• Strong understanding of market data analytics and the financial sector
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate across multiple business functions
• Experience managing relationships and driving business growth in an Asian market context
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage client relationships and develop opportunities within the PRS Data space
• Create and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business goals
• Actively contribute to client engagements, including opening and closing deals
• Work with internal teams to ensure solutions meet client needs and expectations
• Support the growth of the business through proactive prospecting and network building
• Provide sales forecasts and business updates to senior stakeholders
• Coach and mentor sales team members as part of regional leadership efforts
• Participate actively in marketing events and industry conferences to promote services
Requirements:
• Right to work in the specified region
• Minimum of 10+ years' experience in client-facing roles with direct sales experience preferred
• At least 4+ years leading a sales team in a financial data or SaaS environment
• Domain expertise in market data, specifically within the HKG FS sector
• On-site work environment in Asia, with flexibility for hybrid arrangements if applicable
