We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join a dynamic and growing team based in Hong Kong. This pivotal role focuses on Professional Indemnity and Medical Malpractice lines, supporting a high-performing leader who will be moving into an AVP role by July 2025. The existing team comprises seven professionals, and with the addition of this role, will expand to eight. We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively, take initiative, and contribute to a culture of excellence and client service.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the insurance or broking industry with a focus on professional indemnity or medical malpractice. You should be confident handling client accounts independently, supporting large and complex portfolios, and managing renewals, queries, and claims in a timely and professional manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be liaising with both clients and internal stakeholders regularly.
We are particularly interested in applicants who can bring a detail-oriented approach, analytical thinking, and a strong sense of responsibility. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism is key. Candidates who are fluent in Cantonese and English, both written and spoken, will be given preference due to the nature of the client base and internal communication.
A background in underwriting or broking within liability lines will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with local medical malpractice and professional indemnity markets, as well as relevant regulatory frameworks, is highly desirable. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced mentor and benefit from a clear path for future career advancement within the organisation.
While all qualified candidates will be considered, we are particularly seeking a female professional to balance team dynamics and support the growth and leadership development within the unit. The successful applicant will be a proactive and dependable team player, demonstrating a willingness to take ownership, adapt quickly, and contribute positively to the team's collective goals.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hong Kong, with an attractive salary paid in Hong Kong Dollars. If you are seeking a new challenge in the liability insurance sector, with the opportunity to grow your career in a supportive and collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.
