We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Business Analyst to join our team based in Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business improvement initiatives, analysing complex data, and liaising between cross-functional teams to help enhance operational efficiency and inform strategic decisions. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for eliciting and defining functional and non-functional business requirements through workshops, interviews, and analysis of current systems and operations. You will analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement, and deliver detailed documentation of business needs and use cases. Additionally, you will support project delivery through effective stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, change management planning, and quality assurance processes.
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analysis or consulting role, ideally within a dynamic and fast-paced industry. You should possess strong analytical skills, with proven expertise in process mapping, data interpretation, and the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable recommendations. Knowledge of business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL, is highly desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both technical teams and business stakeholders. A solid understanding of project delivery frameworks, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies, is essential. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required; a relevant certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA or equivalent would be an advantage.
The role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You must be comfortable facilitating discussions, leading workshops, and influencing decision-making at various levels of the organisation. Experience working in diverse cultural settings or regional markets across Asia is beneficial.
