We are seeking an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our client's team responsible for managing corporate clients across China, including State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and Privately Owned Enterprises (POEs). This role will focus on cross-border banking relationships and the delivery of a diverse suite of financial services including bilateral, syndicated, and structured loan products as well as trade finance solutions.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the active management of a portfolio of corporate and cross-border clients, ensuring that financial solutions are effectively tailored to client needs while maintaining strong risk and compliance standards. You will perform in-depth credit analyses, prepare comprehensive credit proposals, and support regular credit review and risk monitoring activities. Additionally, the role requires meeting financial targets, supporting campaign initiatives, and contributing to the team's success in achieving revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of PRC and local corporate clients with a focus on structured finance products and trade solutions.
- Develop and expand client relationships, providing bespoke financial solutions and identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct thorough credit analysis, prepare detailed credit proposals, and monitor credit risk on a regular basis.
- Achieve budgeted revenue and contribute to broader business development campaigns and targets.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related disciplines preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Corporate Banking or Trade Finance with a solid understanding of cross-border transactions and risk mitigation.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to evaluate complex credit structures and financial statements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-centric mindset.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
