Senior Sales Executive
Our client is a leading provider of fixed income, derivatives, and data solutions within the financial services industry. The successful candidate will focus on originating new business, expanding existing relationships, and identifying cross-sell opportunities, playing a key part in maintaining the company’s position as a market leader.
Role Overview:
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for proactively developing new business opportunities and managing client relationships with senior decision-makers. They will work closely with internal teams to position our client’s solutions effectively, negotiate complex deals, and represent the organisation at industry events in the Greater China region.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets within financial services
• Strong experience in complex solution selling and negotiations
• Solid understanding of Fixed Income, Derivatives, Data Solutions, or Financial Markets
• Established network within financial institutions (buy-side, sell-side, or market infrastructure)
• Excellent pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline
• Strong presentation, communication, and influencing skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese
• Ability to operate independently while collaborating globally
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across financial institutions, asset managers, and other market participants
• Execute targeted sales strategies to build and manage a robust pipeline and surpass revenue targets
• Drive cross-selling and upselling across the organisation's full product suite
• Lead complex commercial negotiations and close contracts
• Build and maintain senior-level (C-suite) client relationships
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solutions demonstrations
• Understand client workflows and tailor proposals and responses accordingly
• Represent the organisation at industry events, forums, and working groups in the Greater China region
Requirements:
• Right to work in the region or appropriate work authorization
• Proven sales experience in financial services with a focus on solution selling
• Strong network within financial institutions (buy-side, sell-side, or market infrastructure)
• Fluency in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese
• Willingness to work on-site in the Greater China region
• Availability to start on 21/05/2026
