We are seeking an experienced and innovative Solution Architect – AI & Big Data to join our team based in Hong Kong. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and deliver cutting-edge data and AI solutions using cloud technology platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and presenting solution designs tailored to customers' needs, developing strong relationships with customer architects, senior technical stakeholders, and business decision-makers.
You will leverage cloud reference architecture methodologies and champion scalable solutions that can address challenges across various customers and partners. A key part of the role will involve analysing customer requirements and designing impactful data solutions based on cloud-based services. A core responsibility includes supporting customers and partners with the migration of their existing data analytics platforms and applications onto cloud platforms, providing both technical strategy and migration execution support.
The ideal candidate will possess a background in IT, computer science, or cloud computing, with a minimum of five years’ experience in data architecture design, ideally with international exposure. You should be highly knowledgeable in Big Data and AI technologies, with experience in using tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Flink, and Kafka. Familiarity with Alibaba Cloud Big Data services or similar cloud platforms is essential.
In this customer-facing role, you will demonstrate exceptional communication, whiteboarding, and presentation skills. The ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear and engaging documentation is crucial. You will also act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, driving feedback to help improve services and product offerings.
The position requires a high level of adaptability, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to solving technical challenges. Strong interpersonal skills, a professional attitude, and a collaborative spirit are essential. You must be fluent in English and Mandarin, with fluency in Cantonese considered a strong advantage. Candidates with ACP or ACE Alibaba Cloud certifications will be given priority consideration.
