Associate Director Business Development - Payments Gateway - HK Based - Up to HKD$60K + Commission

This is a Leading Payments Gateway with plans to scale into Europe and North America this year, after building a successful business in APAC. This role will look after the HK and Macao region focusing on scaling their merchant business and driving new sales.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results driven Associate Director level Sales Manager to take ownership on the region, managing business development, strategic client engagement and prospecting in APAC. This is a strategic individual contributor role, responsible for overseeing the growth and development of the product, driving new initiatives, and delivering business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target high potential prospects to onboard and upsell
- Work with existing partners, nurturing these account and upselling them across the portfolio
- Build strong relationships with banks, merchants and partners
- Gather and monitor market data, competitor analysis and feedback from clients
- Effectively negotiate and close deal
- Travel within APAC to visit client
Experience required:
- 5+ years experience working in Payment Solutions
- Solid technical understanding of Payments
- Preferably in your last position for 24 months
- Excellent communication skills
- Network and connections in the merchant, Payments/banking and eCommerce field
- English speaking is essential. Cantonese is desired
