Credit Analyst

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Credit Analyst to join our client's team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with an existing portfolio of clients in the trade finance sector, while performing in-depth financial analysis and ensuring effective credit risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned corporate clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
• Regularly engage with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored financial advice and solutions.
• Analyse clients’ financial statements, perform risk assessments, and support credit-related evaluations and processes.
• Monitor credit risk exposure, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate responses to client issues and ensure the seamless delivery of services.
• Assist in internal communications to ensure all departments are aligned with client expectations and account strategies.
• Support the development of deeper cooperation with existing clients, without the requirement to actively seek out new business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a credit analysis role within corporate banking or trade finance.
• Strong understanding of the Hong Kong financial market and related banking products and services.
• Excellent command of Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data and identify credit risks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven capability to foster trusted client relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fast learner with a flexible and proactive approach to adapting to evolving client and market conditions.
• Keen interest in professional development and expanding knowledge of financial products and services.
