Trade Support Associate

The role is critical in maintaining the integrity of trading activities by managing daily trade bookings, resolving settlement issues, and monitoring corporate actions. The Trade Support Associate also plays a vital part in optimizing workflows, adopting new technologies, and collaborating with external counterparties to streamline operations, ultimately contributing to the organisation's efficiency and accuracy.
Role Overview:
The purpose of this role is to support the organisation’s trading operations by ensuring accurate trade processing, reconciliation, and continuous process improvement, thereby enabling the wider trading team to operate smoothly and efficiently.
Key Skills & Experience:
• 6 years of Mid-office/Operations experience, preferably from buy-side (Hedge funds, Prop Trading) or Prime brokerage
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics or related field
• Product knowledge in listed equities, ETFs, derivatives, and FX
• Familiar with Asian securities markets and the respective rules (preferred)
• Proficient in Excel, with practical experience in VBA, SQL, and Python
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for daily trade bookings, resolving settlement issues, and monitoring corporate action events
• Conduct daily reconciliation and reporting of trades, positions, cash holdings, costs, and P&L attribution in a timely manner
• Monitor and manage operational workflow and risk throughout the trade lifecycle
• Adopt new technology and contribute to projects to optimise work processes
• Work closely with counterparties, custodians, and prime brokers to onboard new business and resolve daily operational issues
Requirements:
• 6 years of relevant experience in mid-office or trading operations, preferably from buy-side or prime brokerage
• Right to work in the relevant region
• On-site working environment
• Availability to start from 18/05/2026
• Must have relevant product knowledge and technical skills (Excel, VBA, SQL, Python)
