Overview
We are seeking a motivated Underwriting Assistant to support our underwriting team, with a focus on global programs and property or casualty lines. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience looking to grow within an international insurance environment.
*Open to operations and policy admin specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and technical support to underwriters on global program accounts
- Assist in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of policy documentation and endorsements
- Coordinate with internal teams and overseas offices to ensure smooth program execution
- Maintain accurate underwriting records and ensure data integrity in systems
- Support underwriting activities including data entry, premium calculations, and documentation checks
- Liaise with brokers and clients on policy-related queries and follow-ups
- Monitor renewal timelines and assist in renewal preparation
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance, preferably in property or casualty underwriting support
- Exposure to global programs is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English is required; Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
