This role is based in Kowloon, Hong Kong and offers a competitive salary in HKD. As an Agency Compensation Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive system projects, including the setup, enhancement, and maintenance of agency compensation systems. You will act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring all parties are aligned with clearly defined user requirements. This includes the gathering and analysis of business requirements, documentation, and the delivery of effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
Your duties will encompass designing test cases, conducting user acceptance and regression testing, and offering thorough training and documentation for users. Post-implementation reviews will be critical in ensuring deployment success, and you will also be expected to resolve production issues, investigating and proposing solutions or temporary workarounds as required. In addition, you will verify and ensure the accuracy of compensation calculation and distribution payments and support the preparation of financial reports including monthly journal bookings and system documentations.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of five years’ experience as a Business Analyst within Distribution Compensation Platforms. FLMI qualification is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, and you must be a collaborative team player. Attention to detail and solid analytical capabilities are key, along with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
A deep understanding of insurance compensation structures across multiple distribution channels is necessary. Fluency in both English and Chinese is expected, given the nature of internal communications and external documentation.
