Assistant Technical Project Manager (Infra System)

This role involves supporting the delivery of critical IT infrastructure initiatives, including network upgrades, server migrations, cloud deployments, and office relocations. Role Overview:
The Assistant Technical Project Manager (Infra System) plays a vital role within the IT Infrastructure and Operations team by assisting in delivering high-impact infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Infrastructure Project Manager, this position ensures project tasks are executed efficiently, risks are managed proactively, and stakeholder communication is maintained effectively to support the organization’s operational excellence.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, specifically focused on IT infrastructure or technical modernization projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Highly preferred certifications include PMP, PRINCE2, ACP, or equivalent
• Strong sense of ownership and an analytical, self-directed mindset
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of infrastructure projects such as network upgrades, server migrations, data center consolidations, and cloud deployments
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables using Agile methodology and maintain detailed project plans in Jira and Confluence
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; manage project modifications through formal change control processes
• Serve as the primary point of communication for updates, escalations, and stakeholder reporting
• Develop project budgets, forecast costs, and track infrastructure Capex and Opex expenses, including managing procurement and RFP processes
• Support infrastructure delivery activities through day-to-day project coordination and tracking
