Assistant Vice President, Finance

Role Overview:

The Assistant Vice President, Finance plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the financial reporting and analysis processes. They will collaborate closely with senior management, including the CFO, to support strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with standards. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, conducting detailed financial analyses, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and business planning to support the organisation’s financial health.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Degree holder in Finance and Accounting, or related discipline, with CPA qualification
• At least 5 years' experience in management accounting or financial planning and analysis
• Experience with financial institutions or real estate is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with a logical mindset and business acumen
• Self-initiative, detail-oriented, and a good team player
• Capable of working independently
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports with high accuracy in line with applicable standards
• Perform in-depth financial and variance analysis, providing strategic recommendations for management
• Collaborate with the CFO and assist in communications with shareholders and directors
• Undertake budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities
• Liaise with external auditors during financial audits and tax filings
• Handle ad-hoc financial duties and projects as required

• The position is a permanent role in Asia with employment paid monthly
