This role is based in Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong, with a salary offered in HKD. As Associate Director, Health & Wellness Partner Development, you will support the strategic development and execution of health service initiatives and partnerships across regional and local markets. This includes the evolution of payer-to-partner strategies that drive transformation in customer health journeys and enable delivery of cost-effective, high-quality care.
You will provide programme delivery leadership within the healthcare function, with a focus on implementing value-added services such as case management, disease management, workplace wellness programmes and improved provider management strategies. The role involves extensive collaboration with local business units and external service providers including hospital networks, clinics, TPAs, and other health stakeholders. You will lead negotiation initiatives, manage provider contracting processes and ensure innovations are successfully implemented at scale across Asia-Pacific markets.
Significant travel throughout the region is expected, as you will be responsible for uplifting local capabilities and ensuring consistent execution of strategy. Utilising a deep understanding of healthcare markets and best practices, you will guide local teams in developing service frameworks, aligning to quality standards and enabling exceptional customer experiences. This also includes supporting technology platform development to improve service delivery and monitoring health claims utilisation to inform strategy refinement.
The position also entails representing internal and external stakeholders at industry forums, fostering shared learning and communicating best practice across the organisation. You will maintain oversight on industry trends and contribute to the design and ongoing refinement of health service toolkits and assessment processes to ensure effectiveness and sustainability.
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in strategic health service development, programme management, or procurement within a healthcare funding environment. Expertise in provider strategy design, programme execution, and health service management is essential. Experience working in operations, digital, or product development will be considered an asset. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are critical, along with proven leadership ability, analytical thinking, and the capacity to work across complex, multicultural environments. Exceptional organisational and programme management skills are required, as is fluency in working with external advisors and navigating regional healthcare frameworks.
