Collateral Operations
Our client is a leading organisation that specializes in managing complex financial transactions and ensuring operational excellence in collateral management. This role involves executing daily margin calls for OTC derivatives, REPOs, and Bilateral/Tri-party Equity Finance, overseeing the entire lifecycle from notification to settlement. It is a vital position for maintaining smooth operational workflows, mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance within the organisation.
Role Overview:
The purpose of this role is to support the organisation's collateral management processes through accurate execution, dispute resolution, risk mitigation, and collaboration with various internal teams to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Experience in Margin & Collateral Operations or related field
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve disputes effectively
• Familiarity with OTC derivatives, REPOs, and equity finance transactions
• Proven experience in process testing and system enhancement support
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute daily margin calls for OTC derivatives, REPOs, and Bilateral/Tri-party Equity Finance, managing the full lifecycle from notification to settlement
• Reconcile discrepancies, investigate unusual counterparty behaviour, and escalate operational risks as needed
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, and legal teams to onboard clients, configure contracts, and share MTM statements
• Support system updates and participate in UAT to improve collateral workflows
• Perform daily control checks, resolve client inquiries, and assist with audit confirmations and supervisory duties
Requirements:
• Right to work within the region
• Experience in collateral or margin operations is essential
• Based on-site and available to start on 12/06/2026
• Willingness to work for an initial period of 2 weeks
