Cybersecurity Manager, Security Monitoring

Role Overview:
The Cybersecurity Manager, Security Monitoring, plays a key role within the security operations team, focusing on incident analysis, threat detection, and response activities. The position involves hands-on technical work to identify and mitigate security threats, supporting the organization’s overall cybersecurity strategy.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in IT security
• Hands-on experience with core security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and XDR
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth incident analysis and investigation to identify and respond to security threats
• Provide cybersecurity incident response operations and support
• Collaborate with local and regional SOC teams to enhance security monitoring and incident investigation processes
• Perform security log analysis and correlation to identify anomalous activities and potential security incidents
• Develop and optimize detection rules and queries in SIEM and Splunk to improve threat visibility
• Support threat hunting activities through advanced data analysis and log investigation
Requirements:
• Right to work in the location and ability to work onsite
• Relevant professional certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or OSCP
• Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin preferred
