Audit Analytics Manager

Our client is a prominent organization committed to fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. The role offers an opportunity to lead data-driven transformation within the internal audit function, utilizing your technical expertise to enhance risk management and operational oversight. The position involves developing and maintaining data architecture, analyzing complex datasets, and working closely with various teams to embed analytics into audit processes. This role is vital in ensuring the organization’s data governance standards are upheld and operational efficiencies are maximized.

Role Overview:

The Audit Analytics Manager plays a key role in driving the organization’s data-enabled audit transformation. By leading data platform design, managing analytics projects, and exploring emerging technologies, the manager supports the internal audit team in delivering insightful, risk-focused audits and strengthening overall governance.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years in data engineering, data analytics, or platform architecture, with at least 3 years in a technical lead or supervisory role
• Proven experience in designing data platforms such as Lakehouse or Data Warehouse
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, including libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and modern data architecture
• Knowledge of data governance principles, security, and compliance standards
• Hands-on experience with BI tools, preferably Power BI
• Familiarity with automation tools like Power Automate and UiPath is a plus
• Background in internal audit, risk, or compliance is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Lakehouse/Data Warehouse architecture (Fabric, Azure, AWS)
• Ensure secure data ingestion from ERP, HR, finance, and operational systems
• Own data quality, lineage tracking, and documentation to support audit defensibility
• Enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards
• Design data models, dashboards, and visualizations to support audit planning and reporting
• Use SQL and Python to analyze data, identify trends, and detect control gaps
• Embed data-driven testing and continuous auditing into audit engagements
• Develop automated audit tests for full population testing and early-warning indicators
• Partner with IT, business units, and audit teams to integrate analytics into audit processes
• Explore technologies such as GenAI, NLP, and machine learning to improve audit precision

Requirements:

• Right to work in the location where the role is based
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, Statistics, or related field
• Experience in internal audit, risk, or compliance (preferred)
• Experience in designing and implementing data platforms and analytics solutions
