The Role

Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Exceptional core Java engineering and object-oriented design skills.
- Experience: 1 - 5 years of experience developing high-performance distributed backend applications.
- Testing Mindset: Strong commitment to test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a matching STEM discipline.
- Communication: Fluency in English to operate in a global team environment.
- System Development: Build scalable features for order routing, options pricing modules, and live data streaming pipelines.
- Modernization: Co-author the next-generation architecture using modern tech stacks (Java 21, Kafka) to scale with rising market volumes.
- Business Collaboration: Work directly with quantitative researchers and traders to translate financial requirements into code.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in peer code reviews and uphold rigorous testing standards.
- Production Support: Assist with high-level escalation troubleshooting for live trading environments.
