What You Will Do (By Importance)
- Turn Ideas into Profit: Create systems that take trading signals and use them to buy and sell efficiently.
- Build Systems: Design tools that manage our portfolio, reduce trading fees, and fit the rules of each market.
- Work Together: Help other researchers and engineers get trading ideas ready for the live system.
- Fix Live Trading: Watch live trading, find out why mistakes happen, and fix them to improve performance.
- Check Signals: Study trading signals that last from a few minutes to a few days to get the best results.
- Grow into New Markets: Find new countries and products to trade, and set up our systems there.
- Talk to Brokers: Work with brokers and stock exchanges to get the fastest and best connections.
What You Need (By Importance)
- Experience: 5+ years working on trading or execution systems at a top quantitative trading firm.
- Coding: Strong skills in Python or C++ and experience handling large amounts of data.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of how stock exchanges work, including order types and matching rules.
- Education: A Master's degree or PhD in Math, Physics, Computer Science, or Statistics.
- Math & Data Skills: Good at analyzing trading costs and managing portfolio risk.
Nice to Have (By Importance)
- Experience trading in Asian stock markets (like China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, or India).
- Past experience moving a trading strategy into a brand-new country.
- Experience building strategies that trade at different speeds.
- Experience trading Futures and ETFs
