We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Associate with a strong background in financial services and an excellent understanding of fund workflows and market trends. This role is located in Central Singapore and offers an attractive annual salary of SGD £110,000.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategic plans aimed at increasing market share among target accounts. You will engage with wholesale clients, forge long-term relationships, and deliver effective solutions that support their investment goals. Your core responsibility will be to promote financial services and products to high-value clients, backed by a solid understanding of investment funds, capital raising, reporting mechanisms and exit strategies.
To excel in this role, you must possess relevant experience in a client-facing sales environment, specifically within wholesale financial services, and display excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build client trust and promote business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy and plans to gain greater market share with target accounts.
- Identify business opportunities and assist in the design of tailored financial solutions for wholesale clients.
- Establish and manage relationships with new and existing clients to meet defined revenue targets.
- Monitor financial markets and industry trends to anticipate client needs and adapt sales approaches accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Report regularly on sales activities, leads, and progress against sales goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years in a wholesale client-facing sales position within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of the workflow of various fund types, from capital raising to fund reporting, investments to exit process.
- General knowledge about financial markets and investment vehicles.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- Results-driven with a strong focus on client service and relationship building.
