We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our team within the broker-dealer industry. This role is based in the heart of Singapore and is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic professional with a strong background in financial services and a passion for building and managing successful sales teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, expanding the company’s client base, and maintaining strong relationships with institutional and individual investors. You will oversee sales activities, track performance metrics, and work closely with the compliance and operations teams to ensure all activities adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities include identifying new market opportunities, mentoring sales professionals, conducting client presentations, and participating in relevant industry events. You must have a deep understanding of financial products, market trends, and regulatory standards affecting the broker-dealer sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to increase revenue and market share.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Manage, mentor, and lead the sales team to achieve performance targets.
  • Represent the firm at networking events, trade fairs, and industry forums.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CISI) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales role within the financial services or broker-dealer industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in Singapore and across major financial markets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
