We are seeking an accomplished leader to take on the role of Head of Trade Finance within our Transaction Banking division. This is a strategic and high-impact position, ideal for a seasoned professional with 15+ years of deep expertise in trade finance.
As the Head of Trade Finance, you will shape product strategy, drive revenue growth, and lead a dynamic team, ensuring our trade finance offerings remain competitive and aligned with evolving market needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Inspire: Manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Product Innovation: Design and enhance trade finance solutions, including structured and fintech-enabled products, to meet client and market demands.
- Sales Leadership: Execute robust sales strategies, set ambitious targets, and deliver sustainable growth in trade finance assets and revenue.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnerships across Operations, IT, Credit, Legal, Compliance, and Group functions to ensure seamless execution and regulatory compliance.
- Client Solutions: Work closely with business units to understand trade finance needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive operational efficiency and strategic growth.
- Market Insight: Leverage regional trade flow analysis and market trends to identify opportunities for expansion and optimization.
- Risk Management: Proactively assess and mitigate risks in trade transactions, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Performance Metrics: Define and monitor KPIs aligned with strategic objectives, including revenue growth, client satisfaction, and team performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in trade finance, with strong exposure to supply chain, commodities, structured finance, and fintech applications.
- Proven track record in achieving significant sales and revenue targets.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, analytical approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
