We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented PMO professional to join our banking client in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to project teams, ensuring consistency in delivery, methodology adherence, and the implementation of best practices across various banking initiatives.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in project management within the financial services industry, with a specific focus on PMO activities. Your role will involve monitoring project performance, supporting governance frameworks, managing reporting processes, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, tracking, and reporting of multiple projects across the banking portfolio
  • Ensure adherence to standard project management methodologies, tools, and templates
  • Assist with resource planning, budget tracking, and risk management processes
  • Coordinate with senior stakeholders to provide accurate and timely updates on project status
  • Facilitate governance meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and action tracking
  • Monitor compliance with project guidelines and escalate issues where needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO function

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a PMO or project support role within the banking or financial services sector
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile methodologies
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with risk, issue, and change management practices
