Job Summary
This is a senior-level role for a lead software engineer. You will build and look after secure digital systems that move money. You will lead a team to write clean code, connect different software systems, and automate daily tasks.

• Build Software: Design and look after small, fast Java applications.
• Connect Systems: Create ways for different software tools to talk to each other and share data safely.
• Automate Tasks: Use code to set up, test, and ship software automatically.
• Manage Data: Look after databases to make sure information is stored and handled correctly.
• Solve Problems: Turn business goals into working technology and fix system issues when they happen.
• Lead Teams: Guide other workers on coding standards, write guides, and work with outside software sellers.

What You Need to Know
Must-Haves:

• High-level experience with Java and building web applications.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Strong skills in tracking code changes using Git.
• Knowledge of tools that pack and run software in neat boxes (like Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience with messaging tools that help apps talk to each other.
• Experience working with standard data tables (databases).
• Ability to work well alone or with a team.
• Clear communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience using Python to automate tasks.
• Experience with tools that build and test code automatically.
• Past experience working in finance, banking, or money-transfer systems.
