We are seeking a meticulous and highly organised individual to join our team as an Accountant. Based in d, NA, Hong Kong, this role is integral to maintaining financial accuracy and supporting managerial decisions through detailed reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, and contributing to budgeting processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Analysing financial data to assist management in planning and decision-making.
- Maintaining accurate records of company transactions, ensuring all financial data is complete and up to date.
- Managing tax returns and ensuring compliance with local tax laws and accounting standards.
- Reconciling bank statements and resolving accounting discrepancies.
- Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors as required.
- Monitoring and reporting on the company’s financial status and KPIs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations in Hong Kong.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and work independently as well as collaboratively.
