We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Enterprise Sales Manager with a strong background in the payments industry to join our team in Hong Kong. This role is responsible for acquiring and retaining strategic merchant partners, ensuring sustained revenue growth on a quarter-to-quarter basis, and delivering superior value to our client base. You will be on the front line of our merchant relationships, acting as the main point of contact to ensure seamless partnerships and mutual success.
In this role, you will develop and execute enterprise sales strategies to onboard key merchants, especially those operating in high-growth sectors. You will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings and how they align with the unique needs of each partner. You will champion our platform's benefits, negotiate commercial agreements, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and on-going support for merchant partners.
Success in this position will be measured by your ability to drive sustainable revenue through strong relationship-building, strategic planning, and effective communication. You must be proactive in identifying growth opportunities and skilled at working within fast-paced, competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and retain enterprise-level merchant partners within the payments industry.
- Drive consistent revenue growth on a quarterly basis by identifying and capitalising on new opportunities.
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with strategic merchants and partners.
- Understand and anticipate merchant needs to tailor bespoke solutions that ensure long-term success.
- Negotiate and close complex commercial agreements that align with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams including product, operations, and customer success to ensure seamless onboarding and merchant satisfaction.
- Track and analyse key metrics to measure performance and iterate sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Business Development or Account Management within the technology or payments sector.
- Proven track record in enterprise sales and managing complex, high-value client relationships.
- Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, financial technologies, and market trends.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets consistently.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous.
