Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented (Senior) Business Development Manager to join their Consumer Lines division, with a primary focus on Motor/Auto Insurance. This is a strategic role that combines new business development with key account management, aimed at driving growth and strengthening long-term client relationships.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s portfolio by identifying new opportunities, cultivating partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing business line while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Drive new business acquisition across personal lines insurance products. Identify and pursue strategic opportunities to expand market share.
- Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through proactive service and tailored solutions.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, claims, and operations teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in sales and account management, ideally within insurance or automotive sales.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of consumer insurance products, especially motor/auto lines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
