Casualty UW/ SUW

We are looking for an underwriting professional to support the profitable growth of key insurance lines in the region. The role involves assessing risks, managing assigned accounts, and developing strong broker and client relationships to drive sustainable business.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Review and underwrite new and renewal cases within delegated authority.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, agents, and clients to encourage quality submissions and support business growth.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, including cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational or payment issues and enhance process efficiency.
• Communicate proactively regarding outstanding payments to support smooth collections.
• Contribute to projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.
• Provide technical support and help drive the development of key product lines.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 3 years of underwriting experience (P&C, casualty or commercial lines preferred).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Independent, proactive, and able to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency in English, Chinese, and common office applications.
• Junior candidates may be considered for an assistant‑level role.
