We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated prefessional specialising in Property, Power & Energy Insurance to join our client in Singapore. You will play a key role in advising clients on risk management and insurance strategies tailored to complex energy and property portfolios. This position is ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the insurance market in the power and energy sectors.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing bespoke insurance solutions, and negotiating with underwriters to secure optimal coverage terms. You will maintain and manage strong client relationships, ensuring continued business development through high-quality service and expert guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and place insurance programmes for ASEAN clients operating in the property, power, and energy sectors.
- Conduct risk assessments and interpret insurance requirements.
- Identify and engage with underwriters and insurance markets specialising in energy and property risks.
- Deliver high levels of client service and proactively manage accounts.
- Negotiate premium pricing and policy terms to best suit client needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements in all transactions.
- Support business development efforts by identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an insurance broker, ideally with a focus on power, energy and large property risks.
- In-depth knowledge of energy and property insurance lines, including operational power, renewables, infrastructure and industrial property.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with clients and underwriters.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle complex accounts with confidence.
- Singapore-based industry certifications or licences preferred.
- Degree in insurance, finance, engineering, or related discipline is advantageous.
