We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Project professional to join our team on a contract basis. Based on Hong Kong Island, this role plays a critical part in supporting strategic financial initiatives and delivering key financial projects across the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various finance-related projects, including process improvement initiatives, financial systems implementation, budget planning and control, and financial analysis. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of key milestones, accurate reporting, and regulatory compliance. Your strong analytical skills and project management capabilities will be essential in driving forward the organisation’s financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support finance-related projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring objectives are delivered on time and within budget
- Analyse financial data and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate finance initiatives within broader business strategies
- Prepare detailed project documentation, financial models, reports, and presentations for senior management
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements
- Assist with the implementation and testing of financial systems and software
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance using appropriate tools and methodologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or project management
- Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and financial analysis techniques
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end finance projects in a corporate or consulting environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with an ability to work under pressure
