About the Role:
Our clients are seeking a few motivated and analytically strong actuaries to join their growing consulting teams. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of clients in the insurance and financial services sectors, delivering high-impact actuarial solutions and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients on actuarial projects including financial reporting, experience studies, assumption setting, and model validation.
- Support the development and implementation of actuarial models under various reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS 17, Solvency II, HKRBC).
- Conduct data analysis and prepare clear, insightful reports to support client decision-making.
- Assist in the review and enhancement of actuarial processes and controls for clients.
- Participate in client meetings, presenting findings and recommendations with clarity and professionalism.
- Stay current with industry developments and regulatory changes, translating them into actionable advice for clients.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and development of best practices within the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of actuarial experience, ideally within life insurance, general insurance, or consulting.
- Progress toward actuarial qualification (e.g., FIA, FSA, ASA) is preferred.
- Strong technical skills in actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, AXIS) and data tools (e.g., Excel, VBA, R, Python).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a client-facing role.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
