We are partnering with a leading regional corporate bank to identify a seasoned banking professional to join their Hong Kong branch as Deputy Head, Head of Global Banking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage high-performing front office teams, including team heads across Corporate Banking functions.
- Drive strategic growth in syndicated loans and large corporate coverage across China, Hong Kong, and the APAC region.
- Oversee client relationship management, deal origination, and execution of complex financing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
- Maintain regular communication with headquarters to align business strategy and provide timely reporting.
- Take ownership of frontline hiring, including recruiting Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts to support business expansion
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 20 years of experience in Corporate or Institutional Banking.
- Proven leadership in managing senior bankers and driving team performance with solid sales performance.
- Deep expertise in syndicated loans, structured finance, and large corporate client coverage.
- Strong market knowledge across Greater China and APAC.
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
