We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team in Hong Kong as part of our Investor Relations function within the hedge fund industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining existing investor relationships, developing new opportunities, and supporting capital raising and marketing initiatives.
In this role, you will engage directly with institutional investors, family offices, and other key stakeholders. You will be responsible for addressing investor inquiries, preparing marketing materials, coordinating investor meetings, and supporting the overall fundraising process. A strong understanding of financial markets, hedge fund strategies, and investment terminology is essential to effectively communicate our value proposition.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will work closely with internal investment, compliance, and operations teams, ensuring that investor communications are accurate, timely, and comply with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing and prospective investors.
- Respond to investor due diligence and information requests in a timely manner.
- Develop and manage high-quality investor presentation materials, quarterly letters, reports, and other marketing documents.
- Coordinate fundraising and roadshow activities in collaboration with senior team members.
- Prepare updates on fund performance, strategy developments, and market outlooks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards for investor communications.
- Manage CRM systems and track engagement metrics with current and potential investors.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA qualification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in investor relations, capital raising, or related functions within the hedge fund, asset management, or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies, financial instruments, and capital markets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is required; Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency is a significant advantage.
