LLM Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated LLM Developer to join our client's team in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications and solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs), with a focus on solving real-world problems through the application of advanced natural language processing techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and software development, along with hands-on experience working with LLM frameworks and tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative AI-driven applications, optimise model performance, and ensure the reliability and scalability of deployed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, fine-tune and deploy LLM models for various applications, including chatbots, content generation, summarisation, and Q&A systems.
• Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in natural language understanding and generation.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate LLM capabilities into business solutions.
• Evaluate model performance and iterate on model improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and relevance of outputs.
• Maintain and improve existing machine learning pipelines and infrastructure to support production-level deployment.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in LLMs and NLP research, frameworks, and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience with training and fine-tuning large language models such as GPT, BERT, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with transformer-based architectures and libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, and versioning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong understanding of data preprocessing, tokenisation, vectorisation, and text normalisation techniques.
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
