We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our organisation as a Manager, Technology Risk. Based in Hong Kong, this role is essential in ensuring the integrity, availability and confidentiality of our technology platforms through effective risk management practices and controls.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating technology risks across the enterprise. You will work cross-functionally with IT, cybersecurity and business units to establish and maintain robust risk governance frameworks. This includes developing risk policies, performing internal control assessments, and supporting compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to evaluate technology controls and exposures
- Develop and maintain risk registers and ensure timely resolution of identified issues
- Establish and enforce processes for incident response, disaster recovery and business continuity
- Monitor emerging technology risks and regulatory developments relevant to the organisation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve technology risk awareness and education
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and remediation plans
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in technology risk, IT audit, cyber risk or related domains
- Strong familiarity with technology risk frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT or similar
- Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and other relevant jurisdictions
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP or equivalent are highly desirable
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
