We are seeking a motivated and experienced Relationship Manager to join our Corporate Banking division in Hong Kong Island. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and expanding a portfolio of large corporate clients while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and adherence to risk and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in corporate and commercial banking, with a strong grasp of financial analysis, credit structuring, and client relationship management. You will work closely with internal teams, including credit, risk, legal, and compliance, to provide tailored financial solutions that meet the complex needs of our corporate clients.
Key responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities within the corporate sector, maintaining and growing existing client relationships, and promoting a range of banking products including loans, deposits, trade finance and treasury solutions. Experience or knowledge in broking services is highly desirable, as you will be expected to offer financial advisory and connect clients to diverse investment and funding options.
You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage client expectations and deliver bespoke financial strategies. This role requires a proactive attitude, sound judgement, and the ability to navigate complex corporate structures and financial instruments. Previous experience in working with regional or multinational corporates is considered advantageous.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in relationship management within corporate or commercial banking.
- Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including broking, trade finance, cash management and corporate lending.
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of corporate clients with demonstrated revenue growth.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Hong Kong's regulatory environment and compliance framework.
- Effective written and spoken communication in English; fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is preferred.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
